Chinese battery manufacturer EVE Energy has showcased its full-scenario solutions for construction machinery and launched a new Open Source Battery at the bauma China event in Shanghai, aiming to help the new-energy construction machinery industry cut costs and increase efficiency.
Since 2015, EVE Energy, one of the earliest pioneers in commercial vehicle battery R&D and manufacturing, has actively promoted the electrification of commercial vehicles and construction machinery. The products have been deployed in 14 countries worldwide, enduring extreme temperatures and serving over 80% of leading domestic clients in China.
At the exhibition, EVE Energy engaged in insightful discussions with esteemed clients such as Caterpillar, XCMG, SANY, Zoomlion, and SDLG, addressing market trends, specialized scenario application requirements and future product development directions in the engineering machinery sector. The company expresses confidence in the future of the new energy construction machinery industry.
Fencer Zheng, Director of the EVE Energy Battery System Institute, introduced EVE’s comprehensive solutions for construction machinery scenarios. These solutions focus on 4 key modules: construction machinery, heavy-duty trucks, aerial work platforms, and special machinery. Incorporating the four core attributes of open-source batteries—faster charging, enhanced structural strength, longer battery life, and superior safety—they offer significant advantages. Specifically, they can reduce charging time by 25%, exceed a cycle life of 5000 charges, and achieve structural strength three times that of the old national standard. These solutions cater to the operational demands of high loads, full working conditions, and full life cycles, ensuring safety and reliability for users to operate with peace of mind.
For construction vehicles, EVE Energy launched the B3P Platform, innovatively using Top-Bottom Liquid Cooling Technology to ensure full-temperature range operation while maintaining ultra-high strength and ultra-high lifetime. The integrated system solutions can accommodate power demands, ranging from 114 kWh to 700 kWh for conventional loaders and mining trucks.
For heavy-duty trucks and mining trucks, EVE Energy introduced the H3E Platform , utilizing the CTP (Cell to Pack) module-free solution and full-field foaming technology to elevate system packaging efficiency and enhance the structural strength reliability of the battery system. These batteries can be mounted at the back or side, supporting charging and ?>8swapping. The unique dual-pile with four-gun charging can boost the charging efficiency for large-capacity products such as heavy-duty truck and mining truck, which can largely cut charging time and enhance operations.
For aerial work platform, EVE Energy unveiled the ES series platform products, featuring an integrated BDU (Battery Disconnect Unit) which minimizes design costs while significantly enhancing system reliability and space utilization. These products cater to the full series of scissor lift platforms ranging from 6 meters to 14 meters.
